ProGlove is a Munich-based industrial wearable company founded in December 2014 by former automotive and IDEO employees. They specialize in wearable devices for production and logistics handling companies. ProGlove enables users to work more efficiently and in greater safety, while unlocking a new level of information and business insight for managers.
They are working on the integration of ProGlove with Fortune 500 customers and hidden champions in automotive. Using visualization, prototyping and customers they have made it their mission to develop and supply the best wearables for the industry. After taking third in the Intel “Make It Wearable” Challenge their smart glove has since been recognized by BMW, Festo, Siemens, and other Board Executives. ProGlove develops smart gloves that enable manufacturing and logistics staff to work faster, safer and easier. Process steps can be documented hands free whilst instant feedback to its user is received, and ergonomics, efficiency and quality of work is improved. No matter how automated work processes become, workers will still remain a crucial part of the industrial process, and ProGlove integrates the worker to the digitalized world. Robots cannot substitute every step and system, and wearable devices are the connecting point between humans and systems.
